Youth Development Project Ghana ("YDP Ghana," "we," "us," or "our") is a non-profit organization committed to empowering youth aged 13–35 in marginalized communities through mentorship, leadership training, vocational and digital skills development (e.g., Quick Learn Quick Earn), financial literacy, education scholarships, health and well-being programs, civic engagement (e.g., Step Up Ghana initiatives), and community transformation projects.
We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843) and other applicable laws. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, secure, and protect your personal data when you visit our Website, submit forms, apply for programs, make donations, or interact with us.
- Information We Collect: We collect only the personal data necessary for our non-profit activities. This may include:

- From third parties: Rarely, e.g., partners for program verification (with your consent).
- How We Use Your Information: We use your data lawfully for our legitimate non-profit purposes, including:
- Processing applications for scholarships, skills training, mentorship, or civic programs.
- Communicating program updates, invitations, or confirmations.
- Managing donations and issuing acknowledgments/receipts.

However, no system is 100% secure—we cannot guarantee absolute security.

- Request deletion (erasure) where no longer needed or consent is withdrawn.

- Children's Privacy: Our programs primarily target youth aged 13-35, but certain activities (e.g., health screenings or education programs) may involve children under 13 through partnerships or community outreach. We require parental/guardian consent for those under 18 when submitting personal data or participating, with additional safeguards for children under 13.
- Changes to This Policy: We may update this Privacy Policy. Changes will be posted here with a new "Last Updated" date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
