Isaac Sawadong Meyir - Chairman
Isaac Sawadong Meyir is a passionate advocate for youth development and currently serves as a Board Member of this esteemed organization. With a strong academic background and over a decade of experience in higher education and leadership, he brings both expertise and commitment to advancing the cause of young people.
He holds an MPhil in Childhood Studies from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a BA in Population and Family Life from the University of Cape Coast. These academic achievements have equipped him with a deep understanding of the complexities surrounding youth development, family dynamics, and social change.
Professionally, Mr. Meyir serves as the Director of Academic Affairs at Ho Technical University, where he oversees academic programs, policies, and strategic initiatives aimed at fostering excellence in teaching, learning, and research. His leadership in academic administration has afforded him extensive experience in policy development, institutional management, and student-focused initiatives.
With a blend of academic knowledge and practical leadership, Mr. Meyir remains dedicated to creating sustainable opportunities for young people. His vision is to contribute to shaping empowered, informed, and resilient youth who will drive social and economic transformation in Ghana and beyond.
Dr. Paul Hans Kofi Drapson

Dr. Paul Hans Kofi Drapson - Vice Chairman
Dr. Paul Hans Kofi Drapson is a seasoned entrepreneur, consultant, academic, and advocate for youth and human rights. He holds a Doctorate in Divinity from Grace Bible Institute & Seminary (Nigeria), an MBA in Oil and Gas Management and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Business Studies from Coventry University (UK), a BA in Business Administration (Marketing) from Methodist University (Ghana), and a Certificate in NGO Management from GIMPA.
As the founder of several enterprises including UG SMART Limited (Ghana & Nigeria), Unique Global Connect Solutions, UG Cosmetics and Household Products Ventures, and the Unique Global Institute of Entrepreneurship, he has contributed to business innovation and job creation across Africa.
Dr. Drapson serves as Country Ambassador and Secretary General of CCLP Worldwide (India), advancing education, human rights, and UN Global Compact principles. He has also been a consultant on Ghana’s National CSR Policy (2013–2014) and the Public Sector HR Audit (2015, World Bank & Government of Ghana). Internationally, he has worked with WaterAid UK and represented Ghana at the Model ECOWAS Summit (2021, Abuja), where he chaired the Trade and Customs Committee and facilitated discussions on the AfCFTA.
In academia, he has lectured at Methodist University Ghana, Malku Institute of Technology, and currently teaches at Grace Bible Institute & Seminary (Nigeria). He is a licensed pastor with Action Chapel International.
He is known as a conference speaker, business and motivational coach, and author. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK), the Institute of Enterprise and Entrepreneurs (UK), and the Ghana Austrian Business Association.
He is married with a son and enjoys singing, reading, and sports, while remaining deeply committed to empowering youth and promoting sustainable development.
Gideon Degbe

Gideon Degbe - Managing Director
Gideon Degbe is a dedicated youth development practitioner, policy analyst, and social impact entrepreneur. As the Founder of Youth Development Project Ghana (YDP Ghana), he currently serves as Managing Director and CEO, providing strategic leadership for youth development and programs aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), focusing on skill-building, community development, and advocacy. Beyond his work at YDP Ghana, he is the Director of Policy, Programs, Projects, and Advocacy at Oceanic Movement International (OMI) in Nigeria, where he leads civic engagement initiatives across the continent.
Gideon served as the Business Development Executive and Youth Engagement Lead at CTL Africa, where he supported business growth and lead youth initiatives, including career development curricula and leadership conferences. A key achievement includes leading the drafting and submission of a national position paper titled "Enhancing Ghana’s LED Policy for Youth Inclusive Growth," which analyzed gaps in Ghana's Local Economic Development (LED) framework and proposed inclusive, youth-focused reforms in response to a government call for civil society input.
Gideon's leadership journey includes serving as Youth Minister for Sanitation in the Youth Leadership Parliament–Ghana in 2020, earned through a national reality TV competition. Although not involved in implementation, this experience deepened his commitment to youth participation in politics, integrity-driven leadership, and policy reform. He has also served on multiple committees at Heritage Christian College, including the Council of Trustees, Academic Board, Disciplinary Committee, and Welfare Committee.
Gideon's career spans roles in accounting, executive support, and organizational development, equipping him with skills in resource mobilization, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. As a survivor of child labor on Lake Volta, his story exemplifies resilience, determination, and faith values that fuel his mission to create transformative opportunities for others.
Complementing his professional experience, Gideon holds a Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance from Heritage Christian University and a Master’s in Accounting and Finance from Accra Business School (now the University of Gold Coast). His global credentials include certifications in Risk Management from the International Business Management Institute (Germany) and a Certified Strategy Professional (CSP) designation from the KPI Mega Library. Gideon is currently pursuing a PhD in Development Studies, majoring in Policy and Administration, at Africa Research University, Zambia.
He is open to collaborations regarding youth empowerment, policy analysis, corporate leadership, and SDG-aligned initiatives.

Elorm Ashigbor - Secretary
Elorm Ashiagbor She is the Governance and Compliance Officer of YDP Ghana and also serves as Secretary to the Board, where she provides legal, compliance, and governance oversight to support the organization’s mission. She is a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Ghana specializing in corporate finance and securities law. She was called to the Ghana Bar in 2022 and has since built a strong legal career in Accra, combining expertise in finance, investments, and litigation.
She is currently an Associate at Dotse at Law, where she works in the Corporate Finance and Securities Group. Her practice areas include trade and investment, capital markets, and private equity, as well as civil and criminal litigation. She was part of the legal team that advised an international company on a multi-million-dollar investment in Ghana’s healthcare infrastructure, underscoring her ability to contribute to high-impact transactions.
Elorm’s educational journey reflects her commitment to legal excellence. She earned her Qualifying Certificate in Law from the Ghana School of Law (2020–2022) and holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Ghana (2019). Her leadership potential was evident early on, having served as Girls’ Senior Prefect at Keta Senior High School (2013–2014).

Mrs. Stella Mawutor Agbezuhlor is the Volta Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare in Ghana. In this role, she is a leading advocate for the protection and well-being of vulnerable children, families, and individuals in the Volta Region.
Throughout her career, she has been involved in several key initiatives in child protection, support for the vulnerable and advocacy against Social Issues.
She has been vocal about the need for more foster parents in the Volta Region to provide care for children in need, including victims of abuse and trafficking. She has overseen the monitoring and disbursement of social protection funds, including the Livelihood Empowerment Against Poverty (LEAP) cash grants, to aid vulnerable beneficiaries in the region. She has spoken out against the harmful effects of child marriage and teenage pregnancies, and has worked to empower adolescent girls with skills to improve their life choices. She frequently works with non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and other partners to organize and launch initiatives focused on child protection, family support, and community development and promotes the proper use of the Disability Fund.

Angela Vanderpuye-Orgle Esq. is a Ghanaian lawyer and human resource management professional with a distinguished career spanning law, human resources, marketing, and corporate social responsibility. Her work reflects a unique blend of legal expertise, organizational leadership, and people-focused management.
She is currently the Managing Partner at Vanderpuye-Orgle & Namoale @Law in Accra, a position she assumed in August 2025. In addition, she works with N.D. Ampofo Associates, contributing her legal acumen to diverse areas of practice.
Angela’s professional journey includes leadership roles across multiple sectors. She served as General Manager of T & J Global Ltd (2010–2013), Administrator at Voltacars–VRS (2014), and held CSR positions at both Vodafone Ghana (2008–2009) and Ghana Telecom (2004–2008). Her ability to transition across law, HR, and business environments demonstrates her adaptability and strategic vision.
She was called to the Bar in Ghana after completing her Barrister-at-Law (BL) qualification at the Ghana School of Law (2021–2024), following her LLB from Central University College (2018–2021). She also earned an MBA in Human Resources Management (Methodist University College, 2016–2018), a Postgraduate Certificate in Human Resource Management (Graduate Training Institute, 2015–2016), and a BSc in Marketing (Central University, 2006–2009). Earlier, she obtained a Customer Service and Call Center Operations Certificate from the Ghana Telecom Training School (2004).
Angela has also enriched her expertise with professional certifications, including Diploma in Advertising and Public Relations, Certificate in Project Management, and Certificate in Strategic Human Resource Management.

Evans Hokey

Evans Hokey is a results-driven Programs Development and Management professional with over seven years of experience in Programs Development and Administration. He has built a strong background in International Business and Programs Management portfolios, successfully organizing Enactus Ghana National Competitions, gathering over 7,000 student leaders, and coordinating over 600 projects nationwide in his capacity as a Programs Manager.
Evans holds a B.Sc. in Financial Accounting from the University College of Management Studies, Accra, Ghana, and an M.Sc. in International Business and Entrepreneurship from the Swiss Institute of Business. He is currently the CEO of UG Consult, a consultancy firm specializing in management. As a strong advocate of hands-on, inquiry-based learning, he actively engages in various community service, problem-solving, and technology-infused initiatives that allow him to apply his expertise to support others.
His professional interests focus on communicative approaches to management teaching, thematic planning, and cooperative learning. Evans has worked as the Programmes Coordinator for the Institute of Teacher Education and Development, facilitating professional development programs for over 2,000 teachers from more than 11 schools. Additionally, he serves as the Head of Operations for Dress Fashion and Training Institute in Accra, where he is responsible for overseeing the institute’s strategic direction.
Evans’s current projects include organizing the 'Pass It On (P.I.O.)' initiative on Democracy and Emerging Leaders, establishing the Democratic Youth Movement (DYM) in Ghana, and developing thematic areas in business management. He also serves as a consultant for Skyline High School and is a member of DESPLAY AFRICA, a democracy advocacy organization in Nigeria.
Currently, Evans is the Country Leader of Enactus Ghana and a Lecturer, where he continues to inspire young leaders and drive impactful social and entrepreneurial projects. His work aims to create sustainable opportunities for young people through leadership development, strategic partnerships, and innovative programs that align with national and global development goals.

Princilla Akwetteh is a Ghanaian professional with a versatile portfolio spanning digital marketing, operations, administration, voiceover artistry, and content creation. She is passionate about bringing clarity to systems, giving voice to stories, and creating messages that inspire action.
Her career journey reflects a unique blend of creativity and organizational expertise. As a freelance voiceover artist and scriptwriter, she has produced compelling content for commercials, documentaries, and corporate videos. Leveraging her Public Relations degree and digital marketing certifications from Nova Impact and the Ghana-India Kofi Annan Centre of Excellence in ICT, she has managed social media content, digital campaigns, and client communications.
Princilla’s strength in operations and administration is demonstrated through roles such as Administrative Coordinator at The Divine Healer’s Church, where she streamlined administrative processes, and Operations Team Member at ABC-Ahead Business Consult, where she supported events and participant engagement. She also contributed to Emerge Ghana Limited, coordinating projects and preparing reports for clients, including GIZ Ghana.
She is proficient in digital tools such as Canva and AI content creation platforms, enabling her to merge creativity with strategy in communications. Her expertise also extends to client and stakeholder relations, where she has excelled at building trust and fostering open collaboration between clients, vendors, and teams.

Foster Adjei - Finance Officer
Foster Adjei is the Finance Officer for Youth Development Project Ghana (YDP Ghana), where he oversees financial management, reporting, and compliance to support the organization’s programs and strategic initiatives.
He also serves as an Audit Associate at Massim Consult, bringing over four years of progressive experience in accounting, auditing, and financial analysis. Foster holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Accounting Option) from Heritage Christian University, where he graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 2022, and a Master of Science in Accounting and taxation. He is partly qualified with the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana (ICAG).
Foster is recognized for his strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and objective approach to problem-solving. With expertise in financial reporting, internal controls, and business process evaluation, he is committed to promoting accountability and efficiency within both nonprofit and corporate settings.

Davida Mystrength Adjei is a partnerships strategist, grants manager, and researcher passionate about youth empowerment, gender equality, and sustainable development across Africa. She currently serves as the Director for Partnerships, Grants, and Research at Youth Development Project Ghana (YDP Ghana), where she leads resource mobilization efforts, designs research frameworks, and builds strategic collaborations to advance youth-centered programs. She also contributes her skills as a Creative Writer at Alice TalkWorld, producing thought leadership content on governance, leadership, and social impact.
Her professional and volunteer journey spans roles with organizations focused on women, youth, and community development. She serves as a Volunteer Staff at Sherock Women, supporting advocacy and empowerment initiatives for women and girls, and as a member of Joyful Givers Foundation, contributing to community outreach and humanitarian projects. She also worked as an Executive Assistant at Abeyie Innovation Studios, where she provided operational support and strengthened organizational systems.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Studies from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). Passionate about international relations, conflict, and security policy, she is committed to leveraging research, partnerships, and strategic planning to drive inclusive growth, strengthen governance, and empower marginalized communities.
Gershon Befu Degbe

Gershon Befu Degbe - Administrative Officer
Gershon Degbe Befu serves as the Administrative Officer for Youth Development Project Ghana (YDP Ghana), where he provides operational and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of programs and organizational activities.
He holds a BA in Philosophy with Economics from the University of Ghana, Legon, and has additional training in Business Analysis and Project Management. His professional experience includes serving as an Administrative Assistant at the University of Ghana (UGRC Coordinator’s Office) and as an Office Assistant Intern at the African College of Aviation (AFCA).
Gershon brings strong skills in office management, correspondence handling, scheduling, and customer service, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. He is detail-oriented, reliable, and committed to supporting efficient systems and processes that enhance YDP Ghana’s mission of empowering youth.
Emmanuel Atuilik
People & Volunteer Engagement Officer
Emmanuel Atuilik - People & Volunteer Engagement Officer
Emmanuel Atuilik is the People and Volunteer Engagement Officer at Youth Development Project Ghana (YDP Ghana), where he is responsible for coordinating volunteer activities, fostering community engagement, and supporting youth-focused initiatives across the organization.
He holds a Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). During his undergraduate studies, he undertook research on the use of household ceramic waste powder as a supplementary cementitious material, reflecting his commitment to sustainable solutions. His practical experience includes an intensive Quality Control and Materials Laboratory training with the Ghana Highway Authority, where he gained valuable field exposure on a 57km road construction project.
Emmanuel’s professional background spans diverse internships and roles, including Research Assistant at the Ministry of Environment, Science, Technology and Innovation, Laboratory Assistant at Ghana Highways Authority, and Teaching Assistant at Fumbisi Senior High School, where he taught Integrated Science and Core Mathematics. He has also served as an Administrative Assistant and Front Desk Receptionist at Heritage Christian College, as well as a Medical Records Assistant at Sukura Community Hospital.
Highly adaptable and motivated, Emmanuel brings strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills to his role at YDP Ghana. His interest in sustainable development and community impact drives his work with volunteers, ensuring meaningful participation and contribution to YDP Ghana’s mission of grassroots-driven youth empowerment.
